Important Health Disclosure For Integration Breathwork Sessions

Before Participating:

Your safety is our top priority. While breathwork can be a powerful and transformative practice, it is essential to be aware of certain health conditions and contraindications that may require extra caution or a modified approach.

Contraindications & Health Considerations:

  1. Cardiovascular Issues: If you have a history of heart conditions, high blood pressure, or other cardiovascular concerns, breathwork may put undue strain on your system. Please consult with your healthcare provider before participating.
  2. Respiratory Problems: Individuals with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or any other respiratory conditions should be cautious. Breathwork involves controlled breathing patterns that may be intense for those with compromised lung function.
  3. Epilepsy: Those with epilepsy or a history of seizures should avoid breathwork practices, as certain techniques can potentially trigger a seizure.
  4. Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, it's important to modify breathwork practices to ensure the safety of both you and your baby. Please inform your instructor so they can guide you appropriately.
  5. Mental Health Conditions: Individuals with severe mental health issues, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or a history of psychosis, should approach breathwork cautiously, as the practice may intensify certain mental states. Always consult a mental health professional before beginning.
  6. Recent Surgeries or Physical Injuries: If you have undergone surgery or have any physical injuries, particularly in the chest or abdominal area, it is advisable to allow time for healing before engaging in breathwork.
  7. Glaucoma or Retinal Detachment: Rapid or intense breathing can increase intraocular pressure, which may be risky for individuals with these eye conditions.
  8. Panic or Anxiety Disorders: While breathwork can be beneficial for reducing stress, some individuals with panic or anxiety disorders may find certain techniques triggering. It is important to proceed slowly and consult with your healthcare provider if unsure.

What to Do:

  • Consult with Your Healthcare Provider: If you have any of the above conditions or concerns, it is strongly recommended that you consult with your healthcare provider before participating in the workshop.
  • Listen to Your Body: During the session, pay attention to your body’s signals. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or uncomfortable at any point, stop the practice and rest.
  • Modify as Needed: If you are unsure about any aspect of the breathwork practice, feel free to modify the techniques to suit your comfort level, or reach out to your instructor for guidance.

By participating in this workshop, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the potential risks involved. Remember, breathwork is a personal journey—honor your body and proceed at your own pace.

Saint Mary Magdalene Rising is a sacred breathwork journey that honors the Feast Day of Saint Mary Magdalene, the mystic and divine feminine archetype who invites us to release shame, reclaim our worth, and rise as embodied vessels of love.

Whether you're called to deepen your spiritual path, clear old wounds, or reconnect with the power of your heart, this experience is a homecoming.

Through conscious breath, aromatherapy, and sacred storytelling, you’ll be guided through three powerful phases:

🌹 The Journey

Release — Breathe out the weight of shame, silence, and self-doubt
Remember — Awaken the Rose Heart and your sacred worth
Rise — Step into the light of your truth, your leadership, your devotion

You’ll leave feeling soft and strong, tender and powerful, rooted in who you truly are.

If you're new to breathwork, it's a powerful somatic practice that uses conscious, connected breathing to help you release stress, move stuck energy, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.

You’ll be guided through rhythmic breathing, which opens the body, clears the mind, and activates life-force energy to heal on every level.

Whether you’re navigating burnout, seeking clarity, or ready to unlock your next level of growth, breathwork gives you direct access to the medicine within.

All sessions include intentional guidance, curated music, and optional aromatherapy to support your experience.

Breathe deeper. Feel lighter. Come home to yourself.

With much gratitude,

Lorie Solay, Cht

What People Are Saying:

We had an absolutely incredible combined breathwork and sound bath session with Lorie and Emily. It was my partner and I’s first time in Shasta, and we went with family members at their suggestion. It was incredible and very transformative! We’ll be back next time!!

Ruthie M.

Lorie created a sacred space, guiding us through each centre with fragrance and soft touch, all the while bringing us present, into our hearts; relaxing, releasing, and infused with a sense of peace. Clearing the chakras was magical, uplifting, and every breath was cleansing.

Ramona McN

At my session, she listened to me very patiently and without any judgment. She combined sound bath, aroma therapy and somatic breath work wonderfully. Lorie treated me very gently and respectfully. I would recommend Lorie's services to anyone who wants to heal from trauma or stress and feel better.
